At Reinhardt GmbH we are starting the summer with a new product. At this year’s Musikmesse , we presented the first ukuleles from the brand Kai, and now the first container has landed in the shops of our European partners. Now is the time for us to discuss what this brand really is, and what it does in particular. That’s why we’re giving you three good reasons today why Kai Ukulele is always a good choice:
1. The name
“Kai” is the Hawaiian designation for water and sea. Thus, the brand is dedicated to the spirit of the Hawaiian ukulele culture, but does not obstruct a certain international diversity. Like the water: spacious, always in motion, and basically unstoppable.
Kai Ukulele is a brand of the company Kristal Music and is therefore the little sister of our very successful sales brand Randon Guitars.
2. The woods
Kai ukuleles are also a visual delicacy. In the 20s and 30s series, special types of wood such as mango or pacific walnut are used for the body. In addition, the special tonal characteristics of these models due to their appearance (color, grain, etc.) are definitely an eye-catcher during the festival season.
3. The sound hole
The motto “Small in form, big in sound” gets a very special meaning at Kai Ukuleles, because the second soundhole on the upper frame makes the ukulele a sound experience for the player as well. Never before has one perceived the sound of the ukulele so directly. Kai ukuleles make that possible.
Kai Ukuleles – The Sound of the Ocean
Kai Ukuleles offer different sizes on their ukuleles (Concert, tenor, soprano etc.) – everything the heart desires. This ranges from the low-cost entry-level model through to the classy solid wood instrument with a high-quality custom gigbag on the go.
