Musikmesse 2018: All news at a glance

It’s that time of the year again where we will be presenting something new. This year we will have a large stand in Hall 8, where we will present our own brands and some of our sales brands. There will be some new features for many brands and we will also be adding a new brand exclusively to our range of distributors. Do you want to know what awaits you at the Musikmesse 2018 at the Reinhardt GmbH booth in hall 8, booth E92? All news at a glance:

Baton Rouge Guitars present the first rECOtimber® series models

Last year, at the music fair rECOtimber®, we presented our own process for the thermal optimization of tonewood which caused a huge stir at the Musikmesse. This year, we will be launching the first production models of Baton Rouge Guitars made of the wood treated with rECOtimber®.

The AR22S / ACE, an Auditorium cutaway with a solid spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, maple neck and a plum fingerboard. All woods have already been previously thermally treated. This guitar comes with the BR-2P 2Way pickup system by Shadow Electronics.

The AR32S / A is a simple auditorium with similar specs. Only the back and tabs are made from Flamed Alder.

Reinhardt GmbH takes over European distribution for Kai Ukuleles

Kai Ukuleles is a Chinese ukulele brand, which specializes mainly in the production of special wood varieties, such as acacia, or mango. A special feature is the second sound hole, which is fitted on the upper frame. This makes playing every Kai ukulele a unique sound experience.

From the beginning of April, we will take over the exclusive European distribution for the brand. Kai Ukuleles will be presented to the public in Europe for the first time.

Randon Guitars present new models at Musikmesse 2018

At the Musikmesse 2017, we presented our new sales brand Randon Guitars. After a very successful first year, we now present two new models from the Randon guitar factory in 2018. With the RGI-PW1CE and the RGI-PW4CE comes a dreadnought cutaway and a grand auditorium cutaway whose body (top, back and sides) is built from Pacific walnut.

Cole Clark Guitars present guitars from European maple

Musikmesse 2018 Cole Clark
Miles Jackson (Cole Clark CEO) und Gunther Reinhardt

Cole Clark Guitars is known for using rare and exotic wood species on their instruments. With new models made from European Maple, they follow exactly this principle. The bright, very coarsely grained tonewood was imported into Australia by European immigrants. For the Musikmesse, Cole Clark will present the first series models as Angel and Fat Lady on which this wood is installed. In addition, we will be presenting another Australian product at the show – the Fat Lady2 EC-BSO, with a Bunya top and Australian Southern Silky Oak back and sides.

Every year at the Musikmesse we try to bring all our brands together on one big stand. In addition to the brands already mentioned, numerous other brands will be presented at our stand this year.  Next to our own brands La Mancha Guitars and Tonträger Taschen, we will be adding in our sales brands Fusion Bags, Vigier, Hidersine, Boomwhackers, Ramirez and Shadow Guitars.
