La Mancha and Baton Rouge: These endorsers will be joining us at Musikmesse 2018

This year, we will also be presenting our own brands Baton Rouge Guitars and La Mancha Guitars at our booth in Hall 8 (E92) at the Musikmesse. For the past few years, part of this presentation has also been the “Next Generation”, providing young guitarists a platform to perform on on our stand and on the Acoustic Stage. Also this year, numerous musicians will be supporting us at our stand throughout the day. These endorsers will be visiting us this year:

Alexandr Misko (Russia)

Alexandr Misko is a 20 year old fingerstyle guitarist from Russia. Not only is he a composer, but also an arranger too. He has performed a lot of gigs all over Russia and has had many TV appearances there. In 2016, he released his debut album “The Songs Of Adolescence” with only original music and in December 2017, he released his second album “Beyond The Box”. Currently, Alex has gained more than 17 million views on his own YouTube channel whilst being supported by 170k subscribers. His “Billie Jean” cover has reached more than 33 million views on Facebook and has made him popular all over the world. In January 2018, his video of “Careless Whisper” has gained the same kind of success on FB and on YouTube – more than 70 million of accumulated views in a month!

Julia Lange (Deutschland)

This 19 year old student from Carl-Maria-von-Weber-University in Dresden has reached multiple awards on the classical guitar: 1st Prize at “Roland-Zimmer-Gitarrenwettbewerb” and three times 1st Prize at “Jugend musiziert”. Being educated in classical guitar, she has recently found a new love: fingerstyle guitar! Whether classical or fingerstyle, nylon or steel strings – Julia knows just how to capture the entire audience fully with all her musical flexibility!

Shortly before joining Musikmesse in Frankfurt, Julia had been travelling abroad. In mid-March, she was invited to Hong Kong for a solo concert. The world appears small for amazing female guitarists …

Illona Bolou (France)

Illona Bulou Endorser

This 21 year old French woman from the region of Paris is walking her way on six strings alone. She first discovered her path on the guitar due to fingerstyle artists on the internet, with whom she has already shared stage and studio. Illona does not only cover popular tunes! She has discovered a very personal way in using the guitar also as a percussive instrument. Keep an eye and ear out for her skills!

Janek Pentz (Poland)

Janek Pentz Endorser

This young Polish composer and acoustic guitarist deals mainly in fingerstyle but is often found approaching rock and classical music as well. He is the winner of a number of prestigious competitions. His music consists of rapid and dynamic harmonies, as well as quiet and peaceful passages – the effects of his philosophical reflections. Janek performed as the featured opening act for Tommy Emmanuel during his Polish tour 2017 and has shared the stage with many other international artists as well.

Wim den Herder (Netherlands)

Wim den Herder Endorser

Tommy Emmanuel and Harry Sacksioni consider Wim as one of the best Dutch acoustic guitarists. Wim has performed with guitar heroes such as Stochelo Rosenberg, Joscho Stephan and many others. At the age of 12, Wim was first seen on Dutch national TV where he played with Jan Akkerman. More than a decade later, in 2007, Wim den Herder started to develop his interesting Wimpicking technique: playing all the voices of his music together with just a pick on one guitar.

In 2008, Wim graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory and recorded a DVD with his jazz trio. Wim’s music has beautiful ballads, like the Comeback, and intimidating technical masterpieces, like Karoshi.

Jule Malischke (Germany)

Jule Malischke Endorser

After having successfully completed her studies on classical guitar at university, and master studies “Jazz/Rock/Pop akustische Gitarre Worldmusic“ in Dresden, Jule is now on tour with her own original songs, accompanying herself on guitar. In order to establish a bridge between both styles, Jule often performs her program “Instrumental Music & Songs” in which she creates a bridge between solo pieces for guitar, arrangements in fingerstyle and her own original songs with voice and strings, touching her audiences along the way.

Magdalena Kowalczyk (Poland)

Often, it is impossible to believe how such young musicians are able to conquer such extremely hard-to-play classics. Magdalena is one member of this extraordinary musical circle. Her playful fleeting runs on the fretboard along with virtuosic tremolos make for a very special sound.

Markus Stelzer (Germany)

This master student at the University of Stuttgart touches his audience through his youthful effortlessness on the stringed instrument, mastering even the calmest ballades.
